In May 2026, Danlin returned to her hometown of Guiyang and visited the Guiyang City Memory Museum, an anthropology-based museum centered on oral history and cultural preservation. With Miao batik as one of its key threads, the museum has collected more than 4,600 physical artifacts and tens of thousands of archival records, while integrating research, exhibitions, hands-on craft education, and cultural lodging.

During her visit, Danlin met with the museum’s director for an in-depth discussion about a potential collaboration to bring an exhibition on Miao batik, along with a hands-on batik dyeing workshop led by local craftspeople, to the United States as The Bridgeway Foundation’s first public program.
